Best Bristol Brunches!
Updated: Jun 13, 2019
With input from all of our expert and passionate food tour guides, we've created our definitive list of what we reckon are the best brunches in Bristol...
Ceres Coffee - Stokes Croft
Ceres has long been a favourite of our tour guides and tour guests with their mouthwatering flavour combinations and soul satisfying dishes.
Kick off your brunch with a delicious coffee, expertly made by Ceres' baristas, and then (struggle to) choose from their steadfast yet seasonal menu... fat pancakes with ever-changing toppings, sweet potato fritters with kasundi (pictured above), smashed avocado and a poached egg, or the decadent potato rosti with creamed spinach, mushrooms and a perfectly poached egg. All of their produce is seasonal, local and free range, and to top it off they bake their own bread, cure their own salmon and even churn their own butter! It's a labour of love from the Michelin star trained head chef and owner Dan Ingram. And we love it!
Milk Teeth - Portland Square
It's a simple affair at this off the beaten path cafe, where founder Josh Bowker and his lil' team create excellent things on toast and more. Their coffee is from one of our favourite roasters - Triple Co Roast - and they're known for their flat whites and what Josh calls "interesting filter coffees"... His aim is to support local small businesses in true Bristol fashion by creating a little hub of creativity in their unique cafe space.
The food is a unique mix of dishes such as honeyed artichokes, rocket, capers and cherry tomatoes on toast, or what many a customer have called the BEST vegan waffles... how DO they do it?! It's food from the heart, simply prepared and graciously devoured.
